With the following categories, I've chosen my favourite films. Sometimes it's hard to classify a particular film as being action or drama or comedy. For example, there are a lot of films that are actually action-comedies. Saving Private Ryan has a lot more action in its 170 minute running length than most so-called action films. And what about James Cameron's Titanic? Is it a romantic drama, or a disaster epic? Is Aliens a sci-fi or action film? Where I've put a film in one category, it won't be eligible for another. Note that I've put Terminator 2 as an action film, whereas the original Terminator is sci-fi. I consider T2 to be similar in idea to the Terminator (and hence no originality in terms of sci-fi), but with great action. As time goes by, and I recall or see more films, the entries may change.
