Comedic take on the zombie genre and its recent revival (Resident Evil, 28 Days Later, Dawn Of The Dead (2004)) has mild-mannered British slacker Shaun (Pegg) and his even more slovenly friend Ed (Frost) team up to rescue his family and friends, including the love of his life Liz (Ashfield), from a sudden outbreak of the walking dead. Filled with references to other zombie flicks, and contains some clever and original ideas (such as the zombie imitations), but often silly and only sporadically funny. Fans of British humour may find this enjoyable.
