Delightfully entertaining action/comedy, starring Pitt and Jolie as married assassins who are assigned to kill each other. Gunplay, explosions and a car chase ensue. Full of delicious one-liners (hint, hint, George Lucas), high-tech gadgetry, and charismatic performances, especially by the two leads. Final action confrontation is a little flat, but not enough to douse the slick, intelligent direction by one-time indie fave Liman, who has now hit the big time after this and The Bourne Identity. Vaughn is a hoot as Pitt's assassin buddy.
