Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004)
3 out of 4
Narrated and directed by Michael Moore
Time: 122 mins
Viewed: Loews New Brunswick, New Jersey
Incendiary (pun intended) documentary by the man behind Bowling For Columbine, calling into question President George W Bush's motives for the Iraq war and his family's association with Saudi investors and even Osama Bin Laden's family. Not as compelling as Columbine, and filled with Moore's often annoying tactics (such as driving around Washington DC reading out the Patriot Act to members of Congress via loudspeaker), but some of the footage is startling and thought-provoking. Highest grossing documentary-type feature (excluding IMAX) to date.
